Carriage Driving

Open the Gate of Wilfs Cabin and you are on one of the hundreds of well-maintained gravel tracks that crisscross the Forest and which are ideally suited to carriage driving. From Wilf’s Cabin you can drive for miles through shady inclosures or out on the open Forest, with nothing more than minor byways to cross. There are several Forest pubs within a short drive where you and your horse can be assured of a warm welcome.

For our four legged guests there are two, dry and airy loose boxes with an attached tack room with hot and cold water. There are wheel barrows and the usual stable yard equipment. Rubber matting and Aubious beds are provided within the cost of your stay and hay can be supplied at current cost price, you just need to bring your feed and your horses.
